Who We Are/Our Mission
Since 1981, Ronald McDonald House Charities® Toronto has served as a place to call home for families with seriously ill children undergoing treatment. Our mission is to keep seriously ill children and their families together to improve their health and well-being. We wish to be a leader in providing a family-focused environment and innovative support services to seriously ill children and their families.
DBSA Funding Allotments
The charitable gaming funds provide a unique and comprehensive solution to families with a seriously ill child who requires hospital care. This includes prepared meals, snacks and beverages to ensure families have nourishment to face the difficult days ahead. It also supports school and activity/wellness program supplies that allow families to have some fun and connect with others in a similar situation. It also supports their accommodations – located a short walk from the hospital – through maintenance and repairs, technology and telephone service.
